OVERVIEW
Our English Speaking Guide will pick you up at your hotel at 8AM in the morning.
Then we will drive you to Bago city (1 hour drive) , the ancient capital city of second Myanmar Empire.
On the way to Bago, visit Htaukkyunt War Memorial cemetery and Local Market.
Once you reach Bago, visit following interesting places:
- Ancient Kyaik Pun Buddha statue and Shwethalaung reclining Buddha statue in the 9th century of Mon Kindom.
- Kyakhatwine monastery and observe the life style of the monks. There, you can donate some offertories to monks (foods, paper and pen , snacks, etc) if you wish.
- Lunch at local restaurant.
- In the afternoon, visit to the great Kanbawzathadi Palace which is a reconstruction of the original Royal palace from the second half of the 16th century.
- Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda
- Enjoy sunset at Hinsar Kone.
Drive Back to Yangon and overnight in Yangon.
